We're Back!

This heat isn't workin' for me. Especially after just experiencing the perfect summer weather. We just returned from the ideal climate. Highs in the mid 80's, lows in the 50's and ZERO HUMIDITY! It was bliss. We flew out to Denver where we met up with Josh's mom and sister and had a fabulous dinner. We then headed on to Laramie, Wyoming where we spent a few days relaxing and catching up with Josh's parents and sister. His sister, Erin, is in college at the University of Wyoming and is a cheerleader as well. We had two special celebrations while in Wyoming. First, Josh is almost complete (1 week away) from completeing his Master's and second, Erin turned 19 this past Sunday! We ate, talked, laughed and just enjoyed seeing the fam we rarely get to see.
Reid was probably most excited to ride on an airplane. As you know, he is obsessed with planes at the moment.

Reid and Erin on her birthday morning.

We spent a day in Fort Collins, Colorado and L-O-V-E-D it! Josh and I adored the downtown area and plan to go back soon. It truly is an awesome town with lots of shopping, restaurants and outdoor recreational activities. We ate at BeauJo's. It is Colorado style pizza and a HUGE hit with all of us. We sat on the patio downtown and people watched as we ate. You order the pizza by the pound and then save the crust to dip in honey for dessert....seriously? YUM!

We also had a blast at Fort Fun They have any and everything to entertain all ages. Action shot of us golfing.

Watch for this little man on the PGA Tour someday. Although he is going to have to work on his golf etiquette...he was quite animated and excitable throughout the game.

Another family pic at Fort Fun.

We also headed out to Vedauwoo, Wyoming to take some family pics. This was probably Josh's favorite part of the trip...NOT. But, he tolerated it and survived. :)
Erin took this pic of Reid. He is such a little man.

A family shot...Mimi, Papi, Erin, Lonnie (Josh's brother), Melanie (SIL) and us.

So, we are back and settling in to normal life again and the stifling heat of Arkansas. Football started July 5th, so our life will now be consumed with film, practices and game nights, but we couldn't be more excited!
